I am passionate about scientific outreach and education. I have previous experience presenting scientific material to both children and adults in the context of school talks, science museum presenting, public science outreach events, and scientific talks. I was previously a regular author for the Astrobites collaboration, which writes daily posts on current astronomy research. If you'd like me to give a talk about something, have an idea for an outreach/teaching project you'd like to collaborate on, or would like me to write a freelance article about science/maths, please reach out to me by email.
This page details what courses I taught on at the undergraduate level, and various outreach projects I have been a part of.
I was previously a contracted postgraduate teacher at Newcastle University. This included running problems classes or lectures, marking student work, supporting remote/hybrid courses, and NUMBAS implementation of assessments. Below are some of the specific projects and courses I worked on.
